Job Title: Psychologist at Mental Health Assessment Services

Job Summary:
  • Provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members with a variety of mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and direct individualized treatment programs.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness.
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and maintain confidential records.
  • Collaborate with physicians on treatment plans and psychotropic medications.
  • Offer clinical supervision to mental health trainees as needed.
  • Utilize community resources for member's treatment needs and participate in program development.
  • Report safety concerns to appropriate agencies.

Secondary Functions:
  • ADHD screening/assessment and generalist case management.
  • Provide individual and group therapy as needed.
  • Flexible work schedule.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience: Not Applicable
  • Education: PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health, or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • License: Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire.

Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with DSM-V for diagnosis.
  • Experience in assessing and treating psychiatric conditions.
  • Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
  • Proficiency in psychological evaluations and testing.
  • Dedication to professional ethics and quality service.
