Security Guard LeadJob Summary:

Under the direction of the Hospital/Regional Security Manager, supervises the effective day-to-day operations of the Security Department to ensure a safe environment for all hospital employees, patients, visitors, physicians, and equipment.

Protects life and property of all persons on hospital premises.
Use or possession of a firearm and/or other weapons is prohibited.

Requirements:
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Two to five (2-5) years of experience in the field of law enforcement, security operations, or a related field is required.

One (1) year of supervisory experience is required. Must be able to successfully clear a background check, including a criminal search. Ability to obtain state-required security officer credentials, as needed.

Preferences:
Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Experience in a health care setting is preferred. A current Basic Life Support (CPR)

American Red Cross or American Heart Association Provider certification or a CPI certificationAbility to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writingBenefits Offered:
