The Senior Director role is a senior-level position with extensive experience managing and leading client engagement teams through challenging joint venture strategies, transactions, and governance.


ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory:
  • Directly advise clients on joint venture structuring, restructuring, and governance issues
  • Manage overall client engagements including performing research, analyses, and developing recommendations
  • Identify comparable joint ventures, develop deal options, evaluate and recommend deal terms
  • Diagnose venture performance and generate restructuring options for existing ventures
  • Interact with senior executives at major global companies

Client Development:
Collaborate with the team to introduce new clients to Ankura, engage in relationship-building activities, and create proposals to establish new relationships.

Content Development and Delivery:
  • Lead in creating and presenting new thinking on joint ventures
  • Conduct interviews with industry professionals and develop tools related to joint ventures
Broader Company Capabilities.

Lead areas associated with building the practice's capabilities and market positioning.

Requirements

Managerial experience in transaction, joint venture, and partnership-intensive industries such as high-tech, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, aerospace and defense, financial services, renewable energy, chemicals, and mining

Preferred experience in top tier strategy consulting firms or leading law firms

Undergraduate degree from a reputable institution; advanced degree is a plus

Ability to travel internationally is required
