Join our team as the Transmission Estimator at Cianbro, an employee-owned company. We are looking for a dedicated individual to prepare proposals and estimates for transmission projects.



Responsibilities:
  • Develop preliminary estimate plans and assess meeting RFP dates.
  • Independently identify scope of work and perform takeoff from RFQ information.
  • Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Perform conceptual estimates when detailed design information is not available.
  • Solicit pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to larger estimates as a team member.
  • Ensure complete and well-organized estimates for management review.
  • Develop project schedules for efficient resource utilization.
  • Address safety risks and compliance with standards.
  • Develop innovative methods to increase competitiveness.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum three years of transmission estimating experience.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with scheduling software.
  • Conceptual estimating skills.
