Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist:

We are currently looking for a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and contribute to our goal of improving the well-being of our residents.


Position Overview:

As an Occupational Therapist at Elevate Care, you will have a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting them in regaining independence and achieving maximum functionality in their daily activities. Your responsibilities will involve working closely with residents, their families, and diverse teams to create personalized treatment plans and interventions tailored to individual needs.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities.
  • Develop and execute personalized treatment plans to address functional limitations and foster independence in daily activities.
  • Offer therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, equipment training, and modifications.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment.
  • Educate residents and families on safe daily task techniques.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold current FL licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Prior experience with elderly populations in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of therapy interventions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
