Department Summary:

Join the MITRE Industrial Security Programs (ISP) team, responsible for managing classified facilities and implementing security controls to safeguard national security information. The department's efforts are crucial for maintaining security across operational domains and aligning with corporate requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, supervise, and maintain enterprise security programs for multiple Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) elements.
  • Conduct physical and technical security actions, ensuring compliance with regulations, including DD254.
  • Prepare and maintain accreditation documentation for secure areas, following specific guidelines and requirements.
  • Manage personnel security processes, including nomination interviews and access validation.
  • Support technical staff planning meetings and visitor management.
  • Handle COMESEC information, software, and cryptographic key updates.
  • Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in Industrial or Government Security or related fields.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IC and DoD directives, regulations, and standards.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional technical experience in security-related areas.
  • Experience as a COMSEC account manager.
  • Familiarity with SIMS, DISS, JADE, Scattered Castles.
