Job Description:
This role focuses on overseeing the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) function to establish and maintain a productive and safe work culture, aiming to prevent and minimize HSE issues. These challenges encompass avoiding human injuries, environmental harm, and hazardous working conditions/practices.
- Support in setting Company HSE standards and objectives
- Create resources for HSE training, initiatives, and procedures
- Offer direction for executing HSE department functions concerning audits, training, incident inquiries, software, tools, Company HSE protocols, processes, and methods aimed at fostering the Company's HSE ethos and fulfilling the Company's HSE standards and objectives through a profound knowledge of the Company's HSE standards, programs, and objectives
- Supervise teams of HSE experts, including internationally diverse teams during project engagements
- Direct the overall strategy and coordination of the HSE function on Total Installed Cost (TIC) extensive, intricate projects by recognizing and endorsing HSE project strategies and contractor pre-qualifications, and their influence on contractual commitments, schedules, tasks, and milestones
- Collaborate as needed between the Company, customer, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies to render support and resolution regarding audits, remedial actions, and other HSE-related matters
