Responsibilities

Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta is a provider of behavioral healthcare services in Augusta, Georgia. We are currently seeking part-time Mental Health Technicians to join our team.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Monitoring patients and completing assigned rounds
  • Participating in treatment planning
  • Assisting in the admission process
  • Orienting new patients to the unit and program
  • Planning and preparing for group therapy sessions
  • Maintaining necessary documentation

Qualifications

Requirements for this position:
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Associates or Bachelors level education in a human service related field
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents preferred
  • CPR/First Aid certification required
  • Willingness to become certified in therapeutic restraint techniques
  • Additional pay offered for lifeguard certification
