Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in El Monte, CA, to provide locum coverage to support our providers. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced primary care setting. The position requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, and providing preventive care and health education. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with our multidisciplinary team and providing patient-centered care. The locum position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community while enjoying a flexible schedule.
