WHAT WILL I DO?

As our Vegan Specialty Cook, you'll be at the heart of our culinary creativity. Your key responsibilities include:

• Prepare a wide variety of fruits and vegetables for use in our menu items.
• Execute precise and authentic regional recipes, maintaining portion sizes to ensure the consistency of regional flavors.
• Work at a fast pace to meet the demands of a busy restaurant kitchen.
• Coordinate with other kitchen staff and cooks to ensure timely and accurate preparation of dishes.
• Share knowledge and passion for preparing regional cuisine with kitchen staff.
• Support our sustainability efforts, such as reducing food waste and using eco-friendly kitchen practices.
• Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and insights to showcase the region's culinary heritage.
• Stay updated on food trends and regional culinary developments to ensure our restaurant remains at the forefront of regional cuisine offerings.
• Continuously research and experiment with regional flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques to develop innovative and enticing regional dishes

Position requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is desired
• A minimum of 3-5 years of professional culinary experience with a strong focus on regional cuisine, is required.
• Knowledge of various regional cuisines is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food safety practices is required.
