Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Ground Systems Engineer to support the Space Development Agency (SDA) - an integral part of the Department of Defense's space acquisition efforts. SDA focuses on providing space-based capabilities to enhance terrestrial missions by developing, fielding, and operating the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. This role involves offering technical expertise to government program managers, reviewing designs, and ensuring satellite systems meet SDA's architectural requirements.


Duties include:
• Provide strategic technical advice to support critical national capability initiatives
• Coordinate satellite system requirements development and integration with ground systems
• Offer systems engineering guidance and oversee integration and testing processes
• Assess technical maturity and risks for necessary system updates
• Develop Concept of Operations (CONOPS) for new capabilities

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in satellite and ground systems
• Strong technical understanding of satellite and ground system interactions
• Proficiency in systems engineering and excellent communication skills
• TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in STEM or related field
• Experience working with DoD and IC customers
• Active TS/SCI clearance
