Must be able to lift rolls of material. Must be able to read and write English, handle the pressure of the sign industry and fulfill a vast array of custom signage jobs, work well with others in a fast-paced atmosphere and have very good attention to detail. Must be flexible to work overtime, late hours or weekends as needed.Signage experience a huge plusPay Rate:

Job Overview:Machine Operator- Cutter will work under the supervision of the department head or the setup person and perform the following functions:
  1. Operators must have an eye for detail and be able to work quickly and efficiently.
  2. Ripping files - start in pre-press where art is ripped to the press they are needing to print to.
  3. Print art on material requested from work order, questioning order as needed to ensure quality and accuracy of final print. Knowledge of print/inventory materials is key.
  4. Operators must have the ability to focus and watch over machine as it prints to be able to catch any mishaps that may happen during printing.
  5. Understands timelines and can prioritize jobs to meet these time lines.
  6. Operators must be able to work independently, manage time effectively and troubleshoot to a degree, communicating to the team in a clear and concise manner any concerns when applicable.
  7. Provide maintenance and cleaning on machines.
  8. Filling in where necessary throughout the production process.
  9. Cleaning and organizing press material storage areas.
