DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB:

We are looking for a Foodservice Prep member to join our team and support the Foodservice Director and Kitchen Supervisor. This role involves adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and accuracy with equipment, and maximizing profit through sales and marketing strategies defined by the company.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

  • Report to the Kitchen Supervisor
  • Non-Management position
  • Hourly wage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Remain flexible and adapt to changes
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Manage work schedules and training of new employees
  • Attend management meetings
  • Handle product inventory and vendor orders

DAILY TASKS:

  • Follow recipes and preparation guidelines
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Adhere to health and safety policies
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage
  • Monitor food temperatures and product quality
  • Process and prepare orders
  • Manage vendor check-ins and kitchen cleanliness
  • Record duty time accurately
  • Perform other assigned duties

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged standing and physical exertion required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and climbing
  • Some travel may be necessary
