About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Owner Mapping & Localization in Technical Program Management to join our team. This role primarily functions as an individual contributor but may occasionally lead a small team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality, cost-effective, and timely delivery of our product, developing and refining technical roadmaps, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Delivery: Own and ensure the high-quality, cost-effective, and on-time delivery of their product.
  • Technical Roadmap Development: Develop a technical product roadmap that outlines how to deliver on the product roadmap by converting use cases into epics, stories, and tasks. Determine required delivery time and balance competing engineering needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers to refine the product roadmap, considering technical feasibility.
  • Resource Management: Support the staffing of engineering resources onto product teams.
  • Project Targets: Ensure the team meets project targets in terms of content, quality, timing, and cost.
  • Obstacle Removal: Remove external roadblocks for engineering teams to ensure timely delivery of results.
  • External Partnerships: Manage and support external partners collaborating with internal engineers.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assist in attracting and recruiting new talent.
  • Compliance: Adhere to applicable policies and procedures, including compliance with Competency design and methodology direction for platform-specific designs.
  • Budget & Capital Planning: Manage budget and capital planning requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Design, simulate, implement, and test ADAS algorithms using C++.
  • Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to ensure proper feature functionality.
  • Proactively identify and contribute to changes that help the product progress along its roadmap.
  • Analyze defects and test results to ensure KPI achievement by identifying root causes and designing algorithm improvements.
  • Design and perform tests in various environments (SiL, HiL, in-vehicle) to verify system performance and robustness.
  • Work with systems engineers to support the creation and breakdown of requirements and test cases.
  • Support the design of end-to-end system architecture in collaboration with systems engineers.
  • Perform system tuning and develop calibration guidelines.
  • Follow defined software development and documentation procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferred).
  • Team-oriented with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the related field.
  • Preferred prior experience in the automotive industry.
  • Commitment to ongoing projects and implementing improvements.
  • Experience in project management is a plus.
