In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operations of our facility by handling various tasks, such as receiving and delivering materials, managing scrap material movements, and operating different types of forklifts with precision and safety.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Required
- 1 year of forklift experience
Responsibilities:
- Execute all tasks with a strong focus on safety
- Adhere to OSHA and Hazardous Material regulations related to lift truck operations
- Conduct thorough forklift inspections and promptly address any issues
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure proper equipment maintenance
- Load and unload trailers, manage inventory transactions efficiently
- Prepare shipping documents accurately
- Troubleshoot material-related issues and report discrepancies
- Participate in quality control measures and cycle counts
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines
- Engage in training sessions and contribute to team meetings
- Provide training to others as necessary
- Perform any other duties as assigned
