Woodward Resource Center, a State of Iowa Health & Human Services (HHS) facility, is seeking a knowledgeable and efficient Accounting Technician 2 to join our team in this Hybrid position.

What You'll Do:
This position will establish and maintain a billing and accounts receivable system for the WRC Center of Excellence consultation team

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Invoice for services provided by Woodward Resource Center for Center of Excellence Consultation Team. Electronically submit monthly MCO & IME claims, track charges, and payments. Track and resubmit corrected & disputed claims and appeals with IME & MCO providers. Maintain reconciliation sheets on all payments, recoupments, and disputes to assure accurate and timely processing. Prepare & provide weekly, monthly, and requested reports.
  • Assist consultation team in determination of and compilation of billable expenses. Track all expenses, billable and non-billable, and compile reports as necessary.
  • Provide general administrative support for the consultation team in handling and distributing all incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, and information. Perform timekeeping functions for the members of the consultation team. Assist with organization and filing of documents required by the consultation team. Assist with travel arrangements required for the consultation team.

any equivalent combination of qualifying education or experience;

one year of experience as an Accounting Technician 1 in the State of Iowa classified service will be considered as qualifying;

OR


one year of work experience as an Accounting Clerk 3 in the State of Iowa classified service will be considered as qualifying.
