**Overview**

MAZO Capital Solutions is a full-service commercial finance company dedicated to serving Americas small business community. **Who you** **are**

The sales team is responsible for growing MAZOs customer base and revenue through the sale of commercial financing products. As a Sales Associate, you will focus on prospecting and driving originations through direct end-users and vendor channels. You will be responsible to identify, research, qualify and close financing opportunities.

Day to day, you will be focused on identifying and prospecting potential clients. You will be creating and nurturing relationships with business owners. Through a consultative approach, you will assess the needs of business owners and provide capital solutions to help them achieve their goals. As a Sales Associate, you will learn through direct mentorship and training tools how to successfully add value to business owners and close loan transactions.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly coachable and ready to advance their career as a sales professional.

**Responsibilities**

Lead generation and prospecting small businesses.

Learn every aspect of an equipment financing transactions.

Research prospective clients and identify their business needs.

Outreach to the prospective client via phone, and email.

Build relationships with the key decision makers and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the financing process.

Structure, negotiate, and close equipment finance loan transactions.

Work collaboratively with credit, syndication, and funding department.

Support Business Development as needed on their mission to grow transaction volume of their accounts.

Meet sales goals and expectations as determined by management.

**Qualifications**

BA/BS degree preferred.

1-3+ years of applicable work and/or internship experience required.

1+ year sales or experience carrying a revenue target with a track record of top performance preferred.

Proactive and independent with the ability to assess business opportunities and read prospective buyers.

Leader with the demonstrated capacity to motivate and work well with others.

Proficient with MS office products and Salesforce CRM is a plus

Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation skills.

Coachable, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
