FoxGuard Solutions is looking to add a full-time Senior Network Engineer to its team of experienced, IT professionals Your skillset will play a vital role in protecting critical infrastructure, working alongside a diverse and collaborative team. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Manage Cisco SmartNet contracts and associated purchasing process.
  • Plan/perform routine maintenance of network equipment (e.g., updates, backups).
  • Recommend improvements for securing the network and communications infrastructure.
  • Provide all FoxGuard employees with technical expertise as it relates to network and Internet communications; function as SME.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for networking and communications gear.
  • Responsible for monitoring network and communication equipment.
  • Maintain a very high awareness of security by upgrading software when appropriate.
  • Regularly perform risk assessments related to network during internal audit process.
  • Assist team members as needed, including occasional helpdesk coverage.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement; always look for ways to improve processes.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills Required Experience

ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

THE FOLLOWING MAY BE USED TO DIFFERENTIATE CANDIDATES WHO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION:

  • At least 2 current Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are strongly preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data base applications.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.

  • Organizational skills and strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Working knowledge in the process of credentialing physicians and ancillary providers.
  • Knowledge of managed care plans and credentialing requirements.
