Job Title:
Registered Nurse - Health Services Manager


Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in charge of managing the health services department, you'll oversee medical, dental, and mental health care for students. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with government regulations and organizational directives while coordinating administrative and wellness activities.


  • Screen and provide nursing services to medical and dental patients.
  • Manage health programs such as TEAP, pregnancy, and family planning.
  • Oversee record-keeping, injury reports, and disability cases.
  • Coordinate in-service training and environmental health inspections.
  • Evaluate staff, implement changes, and develop health service policies.
  • Ensure HIPPA and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify operational improvements and safety concerns.
  • Supervise department activities, resources, and budget.
  • Screen potential hires and conduct personnel audits.
  • Communicate and model appropriate CSS and employability skills.
  • Maintain staff, student, and property accountability.
  • Create a conducive work environment free from harassment and disrespect.

Qualifications:
Associate degree in nursing, active RN license, two years of related experience, one year of supervisory experience, and experience working with diverse youth. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in the state of employment.
