Company Overview

The Director of Certification & Accreditation is responsible for managing existing certification and training programs in addition to developing new offerings that drive the overall growth and adoption of the companys training portfolio. You are also responsible to ensure the school and programs meet and exceed accreditation guidelines, both existing and applying for new ones.

The

Director of Certification & Accreditation

shares accountability for the overall revenue target of the certification line with the global sales organization. The successful candidate will possess authoritative knowledge of the investigative and or intelligence market space, as well as a verifiable network of industry contacts and a market-facing persona that is highly visible in the industry. This role requires a unique blend of business development skills, expert training knowledge, technical proficiency, and proven experience in executing a business plan.

Position Responsibilities:

Certifications & Training

o Lead curriculum strategy, design, and course development for the entire M.I. certification and training portfolio across the spectrum of learning assets, including self-study video tutorials, digital books, virtual practice labs, virtual instructor-led courses, mentoring, assessment, cert-prep, and other learning modalities as required.

o Ensure the school and programs meet and exceed accreditation guidelines, both existing and applying for new ones.

o Teach certification programs both in the online and in-person modalities. Each week be able to research, build, develop, record, certification, and training content and courses.

o Assess and reconcile the gaps in the training offerings; work with the broader content team and curators to formulate product options, which might include internal development, partner development, and content licensing or acquisition.

o Develop and implement product strategies and tactics that differentiate M.I.s certification and training product portfolio in the market.

o Future-proof product offering through competitor analysis, customer research, and predictive analytics based on user consumption patterns and market trends.

o Actively manage and maintain the product roadmap and orchestrate a broader product maintenance strategy for M.I. certification and training products.

o Manage the product life cycle for each certification and training offering from strategic planning to tactical activities, through product concept, launch, growth, maturity, and retirement.

o

Lead our accreditation efforts, new submissions, renewals, onsite visits etc.

Sales & Marketing

o Work with the product marketing team to develop and implement programs that drive product awareness and demand.

o Articulate and convey the value proposition for the certification and training portfolio to the field sales teams. Work with the product marketing team to develop sales tools and resources that accelerate revenue growth.

o Work with the broader product marketing team to initiate the launch of new products and releases and oversee the cross-functional implementation of the plan.

o Serve as the expert on the buyers and the users of the product, which includes how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on the competition and how to differentiate and position the companys products.

Business Development

o Lead business development activities with the companys current and prospective content and technology partners, to ensure the relevance and competitiveness of the product. Work with partners to ensure a steady and growing flow of new content, as per business targets.

o Cultivate and establish relationships with leading law enforcement, intelligence, and investigation communities and thought leaders to effectively build McAfee Institutes user community and promote McAfee Institute products with individual learners.

o Develop relationships with leading intelligence and investigation practitioners and analysts to gather insights and endorsements on product strategy and road map.

Work Considerations:

This is a full-time, exempt position based in Chesterfield MO. Its a 45-hour week role 8:15-5:00 PM. There are some remote on-call work nights and weekends to help with student/customer service as dictated by company needs.

Educational Achievement(s):

Required: Masters degree in criminal justice, business administration, public health, human services, social work, or other related fields of study.

Preferred: Ph.D. degree

Experience Requirements:

Required: 10-15 years of progressive experience with increasingly responsible positions in the public or private sector; excellent teaching and course development skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional time management skills; strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task; eagerness to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace through a keen ability to interact effectively with individuals of diverse backgrounds, experiences, and personalities; superior ability to develop and sustain positive relationships with team members, volunteers, and other stakeholders.

Preferred: Prior professional experience in the intelligence and investigative sectors teaching programs on intel, investigations, cyber, counterintelligence, etc.
