RESPONSIBILITIES

Check and maintain forklift with oil, water and Hydraulic fluids. Keep nail guns oiled for proper use. Verify pallets are placed in proper location and stacked correctly. Keep work area clean including, wood bins and pallet yard. Keep track of and turn in all pallet tags to supervisor each day. Take inventory of pallet boards and nails. Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. All other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time by the company or its designated representatives. Regular attendance is required.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Requires basic math, reading and writing skills. On-the-job training experience is required to be able to perform duties. Ability to operate forklift, air gun, hammer and any other equipment required to perform duties. Ability to communicate efficiently with peers, customers, and superiors. Regular attendance is required.

Standing, walking, talking/listening, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms Lifting up-to 100 pounds. Regular attendance is required.

Plant environment with moderate to loud noise. Work near moving mechanical parts, heat or cold (non-weather) conditions, vibration. Exposure to dust. Wear mandatory and/or other appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Salary Range $21-$24 / hr. DOE
