Description:
Movement Strategy is looking for a skilled Social Media Manager to oversee the publication of digital content on various social platforms. As a key player in the Content & Engagement team, you will collaborate closely with Creative Directors, Arts Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists. The agency has a rich history of more than 15 years, delivering exceptional value for brands like Amazon, Netflix, Intuit, Warner Bros., and others. Recognized as the 2022 Small Agency of the Year at the Shorty Awards, we are always striving for the next big social media breakthrough. The Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring content accuracy, engagement, and alignment with client brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Coordination and Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan content publishing schedules and maintain high-quality standards.
- Community Management: Engage with social media users, support content sourcing, and identify trends for brand engagement.
- Platform Management: Optimize content visibility across platforms for maximum reach.
- Technical Proficiency: Troubleshoot content management systems and collaborate with IT teams.
- Content Formatting and Enhancement: Enhance content with multimedia elements for a better user experience.
- Compliance and Copyright: Ensure content aligns with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with different teams to align content with marketing strategies.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to maintain error-free content.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- 1-3+ years of experience in digital content publishing or a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of content management systems and basic image editing tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
