Flex Team

Position Summary

Provide clinical services to all residents at Communities of Christian Living Communities (CLC) based on ongoing assessment and evaluation. Deliver skilled nursing, assisted living, and care for residents while coordinating services according to individual preferences. Adopt education-based expertise for a holistic care model.

Expect to fill in a minimum of 2 shifts per month as part of the flex team. The shifts usually last 12 hours. This PRN position allows employees to sign up for various locations, dates, and shifts, with close communication from the Community Staffing Team to meet preferences and CLC's needs.

Essential Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personalize their care based on preferences.
• Support residents with social, personal, and healthcare needs.
• Apply safety, infection control, and risk management procedures adequately.
• Make informed decisions during emergencies and notify the appropriate personnel.
• Regularly communicate with nursing supervisors about resident's status.
• Accurately document and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Perform any other assigned duties.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant License in good standing.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams across various Communities.
• Preferred 3-6 months of experience working with senior adults.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English with excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Engage in physically demanding work including heavy lifting and frequent movements.
• Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens and communicable diseases.
• Regularly interact with residents, family members, and visitors with frequent interruptions.
