CMQCC MDC Program Manager at School of Medicine, Stanford, California, United States

The California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC), located at Stanford University School of Medicine, is in search of a Program Manager to join its Maternal Data Center (MDC) team. CMQCC strives to eliminate preventable morbidity, mortality, and racial disparities in maternity care in California.

As part of the team, you will contribute to transforming maternity care by providing data and tools for quality improvement to clinicians in the state. The Maternal Data Center (MDC) is a web application offering quality metrics and resources to hospitals and their staff. CMQCC is seeking candidates from diverse backgrounds to join the MDC team, with the successful candidate receiving training on the MDC web application.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, tracking, and support for hospitals joining the Maternal Data Center.
  • Provide reports for CMQCC funders and business partners related to MDC projects.
  • Support operations and development of the MDC application.
  • Perform analytics and make recommendations regarding member programs.
  • Update quality measures within the MDC application.
  • Support CMQCC special projects.

  • Adept at interpreting and communicating data and graphs.
  • Problem-solving skills with a professional and engaging approach.
  • Quick learner with technical web application details.
  • Experience with electronic health records and healthcare coding systems.
  • Clinical background in perinatal care services.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):

Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive, with a sense of ownership of projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sound decision-making and autonomy in work.
  • Experience working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Subject matter expertise.
  • Ability to supervise others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Desk-based computer tasks, standing, walking, sitting, fine manipulation.
  • Occasional telephone use and lifting of light objects.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • May involve occasional evening, weekend, and local/overnight travel.
