Job Description:

The FAA Production Assembler performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various electrical/electronic equipment.

Responsibilities:

Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard

Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries

Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding

Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited supervision

Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and procedures

Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and/or customer drawing

Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards

Additional job duties and tasks as needed

Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed

Education and Experience:

High school diploma/GED

2+ years Manufacturing/Assembler experience

Experience with MS Office Suite

Skills and Knowledge:

FAA designated Safety Sensitive position or potential assignment requires pre-employment Drug Test, and is subject to random 10 Panel DOT Drug & Alcohol testing during employment

Able to read and comprehend instructions in English

Effective oral and written communication

Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned

Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun

Lift and Carry up to 30lbs

Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation

Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering

Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts

Descripcin del trabajo:

El ensamblador de produccin de la FAA realiza el desmontaje, montaje, reproceso y pruebas mnimas de varios equipos elctricos/electrnicos.

Responsabilidades:

Utilice equipo de soldadura elctrica segn el estndar IPC-A-610B, Clase 3

Cortar, preparar y preestaar cables, preparar bateras

Aplicar capa de conformacin, marcado y unin adhesiva

Trabajo completo de acuerdo a instrucciones, especificaciones y procedimientos, bajo supervisin directa y/o limitada

Realizar una variedad de operaciones complejas de montaje mecnico y/o electromecnico de acuerdo con las instrucciones y procedimientos de la empresa.

Realizar inspecciones del trabajo propio y/o de otros asociados para asegurar la correccin de acuerdo con el dibujo de la empresa y/o del cliente

Mantener una estacin de trabajo limpia y ordenada que cumpla con los estndares 6S

Obligaciones y tareas laborales adicionales segn sea necesario

Ayudar a otros departamentos con deberes laborales, tareas, capacitacin y desarrollo segn sea necesario

Educacin y experiencia:

Diploma de preparatoria / GED

Ms de 2 aos de experiencia en fabricacin/ensamblado

Experiencia con MS Office Suite

Habilidades y conocimientos:
