  • Assist healthcare providers and clinical staff in preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures by obtaining vital information.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in clinical skills to effectively carry out assigned duties.
  • Perform tasks such as collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, administering vaccines and medications, and placing urinary catheters.
  • Coordinate patient referrals to specialists and outpatient services as needed, ensuring all necessary forms and coding are completed accurately.
  • Track and follow up on patient appointments, test results, and procedures to monitor disease status effectively.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records through standardized workflows and processes.
  • Development and Patient Education
  • Stay informed about clinic/department activities, attend meetings, and uphold compliance with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, including those related to Compliance, HIPAA, and workplace conduct.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and customer service, providing education to patients and families.
  • Foster teamwork, welcome feedback, and contribute to achieving team objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Clinic Administrator and perform additional duties to ensure smooth office operations.
