Job Responsibilities:
*Pultrusion Line Support Operator:



  • Assist in maintaining glass-racks and ensuring fiberglass flow.
  • Inspect and continuously monitor the quality of the product coming off the machine for any quality flaws, notify the shift-leader if any problems are noted.
  • Monitor machine performance, notifying line supervisor immediately if problems occur.
  • Prepare product for shipping and/or secondary operations. This may include pointing, packaging, palletizing, etc.
  • Clean the work area and maintain an orderly work zone.
  • Assist with general clean-up of the department work area, putting materials away, etc.
  • Perform other duties as required or directed, including work assignments in other areas or departments.
  • Work extra hours or overtime as required.
    Pultrusion Mixer
  • Responsible for mixing all resin and coating mixes for the shift.
  • Be an active member of the setup team (taking off and putting on setups, starting up the next run).
  • Mentor and tutor new employees.
  • Coordination of exchanging setups on the machine in a cost effective, efficient, and speedy manor, with an ongoing emphasis on reducing time and cost of setups. This includes preparing the next set-up to the point where the die and formers are strung with glass and prepared to slide between the heat plates and clamp in position.
  • When needed, assist with the unloading of raw material deliveries.
  • Prepare finished products for shipping and/or further secondary operations. This may include notching, pointing, packaging, palletizing, etc.
  • Monitor and/or mix resin and coatings as per Geotek policy.
  • Assist in documenting any changes to run variables and setup information
