We are seeking a part-time Dentist in the Hagerstown/Sabillasville, Maryland area to provide general dentistry (diagnostic, preventative/hygiene, simple restorative, and limited oral surgery) for adolescent youth at two locations. Services are provided 1 day per week at alternating locations, which are within 30 minutes-drive time from each other. This is a unique position for a Provider looking to earn supplemental income on a part-time basis without the administrative responsibilities of managing a traditional private practice.

DOCS manages all staffing, documentation, invoicing/billing, and ordering of dental supplies. The Provider will have access to DOCS' Chief Dental Officer 24/7 for clinical consultation and support.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental services within designated hours of operations ( 8:00 AM- 4:00p PM).

• Exam, diagnose, create a treatment plan, and treat patients consistent with professional standards within defined scope of service.

Document patients' needs for every dental encounter.

Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Dentistry Medicine (DDS/DMD)
  • Experienced clinician preferred
  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • One (1) year of experience in oral surgery preferred
  • Active and unrestricted State Dental License
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
