LabCorp is currently looking for a skilled Phlebotomist to join their team in Alcoa, TN. As a Phlebotomist at LabCorp, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while conducting specimen collections. You will have the opportunity for continuous personal and professional growth within the organization.

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM with an hour lunch

Location: Alcoa, TN

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred
  • Previous experience in phlebotomy
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team
  • Comfortable with minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation and clean driving record if needed
  • Flexibility for overtime
  • Pass a standardized color blindness test

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct blood collections through various techniques
  • Collect specimens for different tests
  • Data entry of patient information accurately
  • Process billing information and payments
  • Prepare specimens for testing
  • Maintain patient and specimen logs
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties
  • Travel to other sites as required
