Baystate Dental is growing and we're hiring another Dental Hygienist for our office located in Springfield, Massachusetts This is a full-time position working Mon-Fri (8:00-5:00).

Previous experience is always a plus, but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of MA. New hygiene grads must be applying for license soon.

We have a great facility with free parking, amazing staff members, and we stay up to date with new hygiene technologies, including laser therapy and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), which we will be implementing in the near future.
If you join our team, you will be joining a very special team of Hygienists.All of our hygienists, including those at our other nearby locations, enjoy working together and advocate for constant hygiene support.
Responsibilities:
Dental Hygienists deliver periodontal therapies and hygiene services to enhance patient oral health. Candidates should be passionate about dental care and dedicated to providing exceptional service consistently.
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must possess an active Dental Hygiene license for Massachusetts
Strong verbal and written communication skills
