Overview of GIS Data Analyst role:

  • Create and maintain databases filled with new and historical data including crop usage, acreage, varieties, yields, plantings, etc.
  • Manage web maps, field trial maps, project maps, and annual reporting
  • Perform spatial analysis with a variety of data sources
  • Ensure data integrity throughout all GIS resources including data collection, data storage and data usage
  • Integrate data and ensure integrity of all related data
  • Perform and manage field data information gathering, audits and reporting

Experience Preferred for the GIS Data Analyst role:

  • Hands on GIS and analysis expertise
  • ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro
