PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Secret Cleared Master Planner to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Palmdale, CA. This is an initial 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.
Job Description:
This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations. The candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work, and Basis of Estimate development. Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors that may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs. The candidate will have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. Candidate will develop/refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). The position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment. Possess the ability to prepare status reports, and metrics and make presentations as required. Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated Program Planning and Scheduling hands-on experience.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizenship
- Experience with Critical Path
- Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
- Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal & external audits, and project management integration
- Must have experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
- Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
- Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
