TMGL is a small business with headquarters in Northern Virginia.
We are a defense contractor providing support for media relations, communications strategies, managing social media, websites, generating high end graphics and all other aspects of public relations.
TMGL is seeking a Graphics Designer for a quarterly Army publication for the US Army acquisition organization at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. This position requires interpreting and conceptualizing abstract Army acquisition policies, guidelines, and standards into graphic designs.The candidate will research, manage, and maintain appropriate databases so as to apply the fundamental principles of graphic design as needed.
Prior military experience is not required, but preferred.Required skills:
- Develop graphics for products such as fliers, brochures, displays and infographics as well as for a print and online magazine.
- Develop organizational branding and logos.
- Create graphics for products such as fliers, brochures, displays and infographics as well as for a print and online magazine.
- Use multiple software applications, including Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Bridge, Dreamweaver, Flash, Media Encoder, Illustrator), Visio, InDesign, Microsoft Office, including Teams, SharePoint and Word, and PowerPoint.
- Creates designs in the most appropriate program(s) using original artwork, photographs, and/or computer graphics to achieve the most effective message possible in the shortest time possible.
- Serves as a graphic design resource to the agency; designs format of documents and publications;
Education:
Minimum B.S. or B.A. degree.
Experience:
Minimum of five years' experience
Salary:
$88K-$92K based upon experience and qualifications
Place of Performance:
Government site, US Army Base, Ft
Belvoir, VA Benefits:

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, 11 National Holidays, on-site at Ft. Belvoir. Currently some remote work is occurring, however on-government site is always a contractual requirement.
