Position Information

• Location: LeFlore County Jail – 100 S Broadway St. Poteau, OK 74953
• Schedule: 5:00am 2:00pm with a rotating weekend schedule
• Benefits: 100% Company paid employee Medical, Dental, Life Insurance & short-term disability insurance; Paid time off available after 90 days of employment

Position Summary

Tiger Correctional Services is searching for a kitchen supervisor to manage food service operations, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation standards as per company, jail policy, and applicable laws. This is a full-time entry-level position with provided training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following established recipes and menus.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards to meet federal and state regulations.
• Supervise facility-provided labor activities.
• Conduct daily inventory and tracking.
• Manage kitchen stock levels and orders.
• Conduct quality checks as necessary.
• Build professional relationships with employees, jail administration, and labor, embracing company values.
• Ensure adherence to security protocols set by the company and jail administration.
• Complete assigned duties as necessary.

Skills

• Strong cooking abilities
• Reliable and deadline-oriented.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures, including food safety and sanitation.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills, including reading proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets.
• Physical capability to stand and lift weight.
• Basic math skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Remote work is not an option for this role.
