Job Title: Respiratory Therapist



Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist at ThedaCare plays a vital role in delivering top-notch respiratory care and education to patients, promoting optimal health outcomes through collaboration and effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.



Job Description:



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and provide personalized care to enhance patient health.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following established guidelines.
  • Develop and communicate patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with teams to optimize patient experience and outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and charges.
  • Stay updated on advancements in respiratory care.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in respiratory care.
  • AHA BLS or CPR certification.
  • Current Wisconsin License Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to move freely and lift up to fifty pounds.
  • Exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Work Environment:

  • Climate-controlled setting with occasional exposure to hazards.
  • Use of computers and frequent keyboard usage.

Schedule:
36 hours/week, 12-hour night shift
