1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM.
Daily functions:
Work cooperatively with all employees and outside suppliers.
Responsible for completing assignments on time.
Perform typical maintenance tasks to support the manufacturing floor and office areas.
Detect and report questionable or unsafe conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner in the shop with little or no supervision.
Keep equipment clean and well maintained.
Performs preventative maintenance on machinery, building and grounds as required.
Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Lead or Facilities Manager.
Desired qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, technical school education or equivalent experience.
Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States; must possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred 1-2 years of maintenance experience in a mold shop or manufacturing environment.
Must be able to perform one or more of the following skills: Preventative Maintenance on CNC's, Troubleshoot/repair machines and auxiliary equipment, Facility maintenance, general fabrication, plumbing, electrical, plant layout, painting, forklift operation.
Must be familiar with and able to use hand tools and power tools common to the skills listed above; some positions will be required to understand blueprints, electrical or hydraulic schematics.
Capable of performing daily tasks safely; to work independently with limited supervision; to work comfortably in a team environment with employees and visitors.
Physical requirements:
Lifting 40lbs
Standing for long durations of time.
Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
