If you're passionate about providing top-notch care, this position is for you. Join the team at 4 West, an acute and intermediate care unit specializing in Thoracic, Cardiac, and Vascular surgeries at UVA. As a travel nurse, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population undergoing various surgical procedures. Your skills will be put to the test as you care for patients post-surgery and provide essential support.
Some of the procedures conducted at 4 West include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), cardiac valve repair and replacement, lung resection, heart and lung transplants, among others. The unit comprises 18 acute-care beds and a 12-bed TCV Intermediate Care Unit which caters to patients requiring specialized monitoring. Your role will involve maintaining a close nurse-patient ratio, ensuring quality care delivery.
Nights 7/8 or 7/22 start offering 36 or 48-hour shifts for 13 weeks. Every other weekend and holiday rotations available. BLS and ACLS certifications preferred. Epic experience is a plus. Join a team that values your expertise and offers opportunities for professional growth.
