RN Clinical Nursing Supervisor

  • Baystate Health, a leading healthcare provider in western Massachusetts and home to Baystate Medical Practices, is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nursing Supervisor to enhance our Primary Care team. If you have previous experience as a team lead or supervisor, this may be an exciting opportunity for you.
The ideal candidate should showcase a passion for fostering teamwork, implementing change, enhancing processes, and prioritizing patient care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide general oversight for the clinical team, focusing on enhancing patient-centered efficiency and satisfaction for both patients and staff/providers. - Ensure compliance with standards, implement necessary policies and procedures, offer mentorship and support for clinical staff.

The Clinical Supervisor will be involved in various operational activities, including staff supervision, quality improvement initiatives, committee participation, and communication with practice management. Additionally, they may provide direct patient care as required.

This role emphasizes leadership within the nursing team, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and Medical Assistants to identify educational opportunities, develop policies, manage staffing, and address nursing-related matters with both management and nursing staff.

In partnership with the Practice Manager, the Clinical Supervisor interprets and implements personnel policies, demonstrates leadership qualities, and oversees staff development encompassing hiring, training, and performance management for clinical staff.-What You Will Need:Massachusetts RN licensure, BSN preferred4-5 years of clinical nursing experience requiredPrior supervisory experience in an ambulatory setting advantageousExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with physicians and cliniciansCandidates with strong organizational and analytical skills preferred, focusing on process enhancementProven ability in team building and personnel managementSuccessful history of partnering with nursing and medical professionalsAdditional Information: Responsible for day-to-day supervision, scheduling, and clinical support for team members across two Baystate Primary Care locations.
