THE POSITION:

Behavior Technician - Providing personalized care for children with Autism - Brighton – Full-time or Part-time (No weekends)

  • ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy focuses on addressing each child's significant social behaviors to enhance their quality of life. Progress is monitored and measured, with a focus on improving language, communication skills, attention, focus, social skills, memory, and academics.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism. You will work under the supervision of a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to help implement treatment plans and programs.
  • Engage one-on-one with children with special needs
  • Document and track patient behavior data
  • Collaborate, communicate, and support in client training
  • Create a secure and nurturing environment for patients and their families

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Passion for assisting others
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Kind and empathetic nature
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Capable of making quick decisions while maintaining respect for clients
  • Proficiency in computer skills

Education and Experience:

  • Receive comprehensive training in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis)
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Prior experience with children and/or special needs community is preferred but not mandatory
