Pay Rate: $2, $4,200.00 gross per week

  • 36 Hours a Week: $2, $3,000.00 gross per week
  • 48 Hours a Week: $3, $4,200.00 gross per week

Number of Positions: 5

Start Date: Ideal candidate can start as early as 06/10/2024. Will take candidates who can start before or after

Length: 3-6 Months - With the Opportunity to Extend

Schedule: Variable Shifts (Days & Nights) / Rotating Schedule: 36 Hours One Week/48 Hours the Next Week / OT After 48 Hours / Shifts may change and may need to cover day or mid shift

Call Schedule: None

Additional Details:

  • Emergency Department consists of 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit
  • All ED Nurses are expected to rotate through each of these areas regularly
  • Nurses are assigned to Triage, Quick Registration, COVID Tent, and Entry Screening
  • Nurses can expect to be assigned a different area at a minimum daily, and may be rotated during their shift, depending on the patient volume and needs of the unit
  • May be assigned to assist with COVID testing and/or immunization clinic

REQUIREMENTS

  • RN License (Can take any state)
  • Minimum (2) Years of ED Experience
  • Must be willing to float to other departments as needed

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • ENCP or TNCC

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

  • Arizona
  • Can Accept Any State License

This is a 245,000 square foot acute care IHS hospital located in Fort Defiance, AZ. Nestled in a ponderosa environment on the Colorado Plateau, backcountry hiking is in abundance for outdoor enthusiasts Hospital services include a 24/7 Emergency Department, Outpatient Services, 56-bed inpatient unit, including ICU, Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU), Labor and Delivery (L&D) and an inpatient Adolescent Care Unit (ACU).
