Sapphire Nursing at Meadow Hill, a top-tier skilled nursing facility situated in Orange County, New York, is currently seeking passionate and dynamic CNA's for various shifts to join our team of devoted and skilled professionals.
We are in search of individuals who are looking for a fulfilling career that adds value and positively impacts the lives of others.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, our CNAs provide direct nursing care to residents assigned to them and carry out other essential services to cater to their personal and comfort needs. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet with you and explore the professional openings available at our institution.
Job Responsibilities / Duties:
- Promote resident hygiene and comfort.
- Distribute food/water and assist residents with feeding.
- Help with repositioning and transferring residents.
- Ambulate and transport residents.
- Record and calculate fluid intake and output.
- Weigh residents and document on flow sheets.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and postmortem care.
- Respond promptly to call lights.
- Provide perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
- Report all observations and assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
- Take and document vital signs.
- Make beds, maintain cleanliness, and order in residents' units.
- Prepare rooms for housekeeping post-resident discharge.
Skill / Experience Requirements:
Current NYS CNA Certification.
Previous experience in Long Term Care considered a plus.
