- Highly qualified Java Full Stack Engineer position
- Developing scalable enterprise applications

This role is eligible for Cognizant's annual incentive program, subject to performance-based criteria. The compensation package includes a variety of benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) plan, and more.
Key responsibilities:
- Backend and webservices/RESTAPI development using Node Js and Java
- UI development utilizing Angular, JavaScript, and Jasmine/Karma for unit testing
- Cloud experience focusing on AWS (ECS, Lambda, Fargate) and other services like EC2, S3, and RDS
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Angular
- Experience with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and various AWS tools
- Collaboration with Agile teams for end-to-end technical solution development
- Sharing knowledge and passion for technology trends within the engineering community
- Delivering cloud-based solutions that enhance user experiences and promote financial empowerment
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of overall software development experience
- Hands-on experience in REST API and microservice principles
- Proficiency in Node JS, including unit testing with Jest and Mocha
- Experience with version-controlled Node JS environments
- Knowledge of Jquery, Jscript, and database management using NodeJs
- Hands-on experience with AWS services like ECS, EC2, Lambda, and S3
- Proficient in Agile practices
Preferred skills:
- Experience in the Financial Domain
- Working knowledge of AngularJS 11 and Java
- Ability to write unit tests using Jasmine, Karma, Junit, Mockito
- Previous experience in people management
- Strong analytical skills, team player mindset, and self-motivated attitude
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in AWS Fargate
