Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

As an assembler, you will operate machines and equipment or use hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit plastic materials to form parts and assemblies. You will follow drawings to join shell halves together using a hand lay-up process and install fittings, gauge plates, manways, and other components and accessories. Preparing composite materials from patterns to join parts and assemblies, making minor adjustments or repairs to products, and periodically inspecting work to ensure compliance with company quality standards are also key responsibilities. You will be expected to document information on process sheets and timecards accurately and in a timely manner. Using equipment to complete job duties including a grinder, trimmer, measuring tools, and rollers, while performing preventative maintenance as required, is an integral part of the role. The role also entails performing other direct assembly activities as required.
