Our Partner Engagement Officer plays a fundamental role in the development and maintenance of a robust mid-major donor program for Every Home for Christ. The main responsibilities involve fostering relationships with existing and potential major donors, adhering to biblical standards of conduct, providing spiritual guidance to partners, and effectively representing the organization's mission and values to donors and the community. Here are the key aspects of the role:

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and embody Christ-like values in all interactions
  • Provide spiritual guidance to partners in alignment with Every Home for Christ's values
  • Convey the organization's religious message and beliefs to donors and the community
  • Lead prayer sessions and church services for partners, churches, and ministries
  • Show passion for Every Home's mission and faith values to donors and prospects
  • Stay informed about the organization's global strategies and collaborate effectively with other departments
  • Represent Every Home for Christ's mission and values in interactions with donors and external relationships
  • Initiate contact with major donors, cultivate relationships, and solicit donations
  • Coordinate strategies to optimize time and resources in donor cultivation
  • Develop annual partnership engagement goals for donor growth
  • Collaborate with Partner Engagement/Marketing to enhance donor experience
  • Maintain accurate donor records and provide regular progress reports
  • Engage donors and volunteers to deepen their connection with the organization
  • Participate in internal meetings as part of the Partner Engagement team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active relationship with Jesus Christ and involvement in a local church
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, business, or related field
  • 5-8 years of fundraising experience with a passion for sharing the love of Jesus
  • Strong commitment to ethical donor management and integrity
  • Excellent networking, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven track record of meeting fundraising goals and donor interaction
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Proficiency in donor database use and online research
  • Flexible and willing to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally
