Novant Health Rowan Family Physicians Salisbury clinic is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to handle office and clinical tasks efficiently. Work alongside healthcare staff to collect test samples, maintain patient records, explain procedures to patients, and assist in examinations. Join a great team focused on quality care and service.

Novant Health locations provide top-notch care from experienced providers, treating a variety of cases and offering support resources.

Monday to Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm; No Weekends

Previous experience is preferred

Bilingual abilities are a plus

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program with a clinical externship, including pharmacology and medication administration. Certification must be obtained within six months of hire. Acceptable certifications: CMA (AAMA), CCMA (NHA), RMA (AMT), among others. Alternative work experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Medical office experience is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required.
  • Additional skills: Ability to complete skills validation and testing.
