REDW is looking for a Risk Advisory Consultant to join Audit & Assurance team remotely.

The Risk Advisory Consultant is responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments, evaluating internal controls, and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate potential risks and enhance operational efficiency. This role collaborates closely with clients to identify areas of improvement, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen the client's overall risk management framework.

What you will be doing...

  • Consults and assists clients with strategically integrating effective processes, programs, and practices into their operations.
  • Acts as external consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to issues that a certain department, function, or entity is facing.
  • Conducts reviews of department activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and ensures business practices are in accordance with policies and laws.
  • Adapts quickly to various types of audits and needs of the clients while maintaining the high integrity of work product and meeting deliverables.
  • Assists with developing, coordinating and recommending changes for the improvement of workflow within the area.
  • Identifies and recommends areas and processes for streamlining and improving efficiencies.
  • Assists with, and further develops, relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor.
  • Advises clients one-on-one and independently interviews clients to provide accurate and timely recommendations.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for projects, client relationships, and team member workload; proactively contributing to project deliverables and timelines.
  • Demonstrates flexible, creative, and sound problem-solving and solution-oriented skills; effectively communicates solutions.
  • Advocates for continuous improvement of quality deliverables and services, and adoption of best practices; incorporates these opportunities for improvement into departmental processes.
What you will need to succeed...
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent applicable experience.
  • Three years or more of consulting experience.
PREFERRED
  • CPA, CIA, CFE, PMP and/or Six Sigma certifications.

  • Ability to perform sophisticated technical research and analysis, draw conclusions, and implement solutions.
  • Ability to review/audit work performed by others, as well as analytical peer and self-review to ensure quality of deliverables and services.
  • Knowledge and ability, with limited supervision, to ensure that daily work is completed accurately and timely, with a focus on client service and quality of work product.
