Job Description

Infosys is in search of a talented Python AWS Developer for a key role. As part of this position, you will offer technical guidance to teams, lead Proof of Concept projects, and contribute to identifying opportunities while promoting the Infosys brand. You will work alongside top industry professionals to develop and execute cutting-edge solutions. Required Qualifications

  • Must be based within a commutable distance of Houston, TX or Richardson, TX with openness to relocation. Potential travel to project sites.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution. Relevant experience in the field can offset educational requirements.
  • Minimum 4 years of IT expertise
  • Minimum 3 years handling advanced Cloud-based software projects, emphasizing security and open-source technologies.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies: AWS (Lambda/EC2/SQS/SNS/S3/IAM/CloudWatch).
  • Familiarity with Big Data Technologies including Python (Pandas,Numpy, Dict,List)
  • Experience with Cloud DB/DW like Snowflake/ PostgressSQL/DynamoDB or NoSQL databases e.g., Cassandra.
  • Skilled in Scripting languages like shell script, python
  • Sound understanding of Linux commands including grep, top, nohup etc.
  • Proficient in handling JSON file structures and data processing.
  • Knowledge of CI-CD toolchain, deployment, and monitoring.

Preferred Requirements

  • Expertise in AWS-Glue, AWS-Kinesis
  • Background in web application development, microservices
  • Familiarity with GeoSpatial applications
  • Exposure to projects involving Machine Learning.

Job involves prolonged computer work, requiring effective communication through various channels such as phone, email, or in-person. Travel might be necessary based on job demands.
