Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Skilled Nursing Facility

SLP Job Summary:


We are currently seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities to join a reputable healthcare facility in Torrance, California.

This is an excellent chance to enhance your speech-language pathology abilities and advance your SLP career. The role involves delivering speech therapy and rehabilitation services to patients within the facility.

You demonstrate genuine care for individuals and are dedicated to helping each patient progress towards achieving the best possible outcome based on their unique circumstances.


Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Recognize indications and contradictions to treatment, adjust treatment plans, and be knowledgeable about typical and atypical patient responses.
- Provide necessary instruction to patients and their families, customize traditional speech therapy methods to suit the patients' requirements.
- Maintain clear, precise, and readable records and documentation.
- Adhere to ASHA guidelines for ethical and top-notch job performance.

Job Requirements:
- Current state license as a speech-language pathologist
- Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of SLP experience within the past 5 years
