Job DescriptionJob Description

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and utilizing all measuring instruments such as rules, squares, circumference tapes, vernier tapes, vernier calipers, depth and diameter gauges, radius gauges, vide-gauge, pressure gauges
  • Using all testing and measuring procedures
  • Checking dimensions on spun, machined , welded, forged, cast parts
  • Making necessary reports on inspection copy of work order
  • Spot check to determine whether work is being done correctly
  • Stopping operations on parts produced that are not within tolerance or quality standards reporting to management
  • Inspection and report all defects on incoming materials, tools, dies, casting and performing necessary inspections
  • Build all necessary inspection setups, gauges, fixtures if needed
  • Follow company procedures and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous inspection experience required
  • Experience with calipers, precision instruments, verniers, etc.
  • Good computer skills

Certifications and Licenses:

  • Certified welding inspector
  • Level II penetrant certification
  • Level II Eddy current certification
  • Level II Ultrasonic testing certifications
  • MA Hoisting License 1C/3A
  • OHSA Fork Truck Evaluation Certificate
  • These certifications would be a plus

Hours are:

Monday through Friday – 7am to 3:30pm

The pay is up to $30.91
