The Role

We are looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Credit and Collections Analyst to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for collection of global customer receivables, resolution of outstanding balances, and supporting a key component of AspenTech's free cash flow initiatives for the Digital Grid Management Business.

This role requires individual reporting and collections forecasting, and the agility to manage various tasks, set, and meet deadlines.

Additionally, candidate will support the Credit function This position will require strong cross functional, communication, and organizational skills to work closely with the Accounts Receivable, Professional Services, and Sales teams for ease of invoicing and resolution of billing issues to drive collections.

The right candidate must possess the drive to think on the fly, adapt, and be resourceful to drive toward the right solution, and apply that knowledge and experience to future scenarios to increase success in both credit and collections activity.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for Trade AR Collections and the weekly forecast update.
  • Record Daily Cash Deposits in ERP system.
  • Maintain Customer Credit Information Requests and Credit Reporting.
  • Weekly past due AR reporting for multiple international entities.
  • Month End Accounting duties as assigned.
  • Initiate Global Payments for the US and International Entities.
  • Ensure documentation and contracts documents are in place for SMS Renewals and Term Software Anniversaries.
  • Other duties as assigned related to collections, risk, and treasury.
  • Perform assigned month-end, quarter-end, year-end duties in a timely manner.
What You'll Need

  • 5-8 years overall experience in an analytical role.
  • Experience with high volume & difficult collections scenarios that require significant follow through.
  • Understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statements).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel is a must.
  • Excellent organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks to completion timely and effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally a must.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Ability to proactively manage risks and resolve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a global, matrixed team. Flexibility and adaptability a strong plus.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a project-based organization and millstone invoicing.
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
  • Knowledge of credit systems like Dun & Bradstreet, CreditRiskMonitor reporting and analysis preferred.
  • Knowledge of Epicor or other ERP systems, SharePoint, and SalesForce.
